Chapter 01: The Start of Something Big
Professor Juniper hummed to herself as she looked over her notes, walking through her lab. It was a calm day with all three of her aides-in-training out, which gave her plenty of time to just do whatever, but then looking over her research wasn’t a chore for her, so she was plenty entertained just doing that. And after all, she SHOULD enjoy such time to herself, as she never knew when her silent time might be shattered.
“WE’RE BACK!!!” she heard three voices call out.
With a quick amused roll of her eyes, she looked up to see three youths having come in through the front do

Chapter 02: Sawk To The System
Professor Juniper sighed hard, looking out the window as she saw her three aides-in-training feeding their Pokémon. She had decided after seeing the way that they handled themselves yesterday that the time had come for them to head on their journey, but was hesitant to let them. So of course, she invited the brown haired woman sitting at the coffee table nearby as a means to have a definitive “No” to the possibility.
“…I think it might be a good idea.” the woman said.
The Professor did a double take at this. “…Wh-what?!”
The brunette gave a nervous

Chapter 03: For My Deerling
“Patrat, go!” Cheren called, tossing a Poké Ball that sent out Cheren’s Patrat in a flash.
It was the next day, and Professor Juniper had finally let the group in on her plans to have the trio head out into the world to further their studies and grow stronger. However, she insisted that they first do some training on Route 1, close to Nuvema Town, to increase their strength, maybe even catch some new Pokémon…which was exactly what was on Cheren’s mind when he saw a wild Pidove, a gray Tiny Pigeon Pokémon, pecking at the ground.
“Good call.” Hilbert

Chapter 04: Rufflet Around The Edges
"Okay Rufflet, use Hone Claws!" Hilbert shouted, Rufflet glowing a dark energy as his strength increased.
It was the next day after the incident with Audino, and Hilbert and Cheren had decided to make use of this day by having an aerial battle with their Flying types. And so it was that Hilbert and his Rufflet were taking on Cheren and his Pidove. Meanwhile, Bianca and the rest of the trio's Pokémon were watching from the sidelines...at least they all were supposed to be, save for Sawk, who was practising his katas.
"Powering up for a strong attack, Hilbert?" Cheren wondered aloud, adjusting his gl

Chapter 05: She Could Shake The Maractus
"Mmm, food..." Bianca moaned, her stomach growling.
Cheren sighed hard, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Bianca, didn't you pack any rations for this trip at all?"
The trio of aides-in-training were currently still on Route 01, having gotten lost because their navigator, a certain scatterbrained blonde, was too preoccupied with the state of her stomach than the map she had been entrusted to by Professor Juniper and led them astray. The once merry band of travellers setting out on their adventure now consisted of one boy who was trying his best not to explode like a volcano, one girl who was constan

Chapter 06: Dewott Makes You Happy
“Whew, made it!” Hilbert exclaimed. “And just in time too!”
It was just hitting sundown, and the trio were finally arriving at the gates to Accumula Town, essentially the halfway point between Nuvema Town and Striaton City. The group sighed in relief, knowing they wouldn’t have to be sleeping outdoors, especially given what had happened to them while getting lost.
“There should be a Pokémon Center in this town.” Cheren noted as the trio walked into town, admiring the view.
“That’s that hospital/lodge for Pokémon Trainers, right?

Chapter 07: Battle to the Beat, Part 1
"The Musical Contest, huh?" Professor Juniper asked over the video screen of the Xtransceiver. "Well, I sort of guessed that you might try out for that."
Cheren sighed. He had hoped telling Professor Juniper about Bianca's plan to take them off their journey to Striaton City would result in the Professor setting Bianca straight. Apparently though, not only did Juniper think it was a good idea, she had actually prepared Contest Passes and placed them in their bags before they left, knowing ahead of time that there was supposed to be one and that it might catch their eye.
"Cheren, you need to understand

Chapter 08: Battle to the Beat, Part 2
"Rufflet!" Hilbert cried in fear as he, Sawk, and Oshawott watched on, unable to do anything but watch and see what condition Rufflet would be in when the flames died...only for Rufflet to climb up out of the flames, albeit somewhat singed. "Alright, let's give it all we got! Wing Attack!" Rufflet cawed loudly as it charged Zorua, wings alit with white energy.
The green haired boy merely sighed. "Never learn. Zorua, Extrasensory." Zorua let out a roar as it launched a rainbow coloured spiralling blast of psychic energy. It collided with Rufflet, ensnaring it in the center of the blast, before it was ha

Chapter 09: Battle to the Beat, Part 3
"Don't give up, Tepig!" Bianca cried, bracing herself against the wind and light. Tepig squealed loudly as his tail started to glow bright red. The glowing then spread to his whole body as he took in another deep breath. Finally, as if his whole body was on fire, Tepig stomped the ground hard, sending a column of flames shooting up out of the ground around Lilligant, causing massive damage.
"HOLY CRAP!" Hilbert exclaimed from the stands. "What the heck was that?!"
"I think it was Fire Pledge," Cheren responded, "but much stronger than it should have been! Unless that glowing was...It must've been Blaz
